After being tested on Draft Blogger, the video upload feature is finally live on Blogger.
It allows you to upload videos which are related to your blog post and which you don't want to be available on a video site like YouTube. The videos are still hosted by Google but they won't appear in search results. This is good if you want to upload videos exclusively for your blog's use.
By the way, Blogger turned eight today.

Just found this malfunctioning Blogger poll on a blog. Although a finished product released from Draft, it sometimes gets into trouble. Hmm...Minor glitches seem to be characteristics of Google's products.

At 1:30am (SG Time), I cannot edit the template of any blog on Blogger. When I preview or save the template, it just shows me 404 error. What's wrong with Google these days?

Blogger now has a text box under Settings > Comments where users can enter a short message to the readers before they write any comment on the blog. The feature can be used to convey a policy or warning message to the readers and is a very useful one indeed.
On an unrelated note, I hope, after the latest release of Blogger Search, the Blogger Draft will continue to release some gadgets like Label Cloud and Archive Calendar (although there are other ways to get it done by manual coding).

Blogger now has the option to redirect the post feeds link to the FeedBurner link. So, from now on, subscribers will no longer be confused about which feeds they should subscribe to which is the case when they see multiple feeds links on a site.
This is the second update after Google acquired FeedBurner, the first one being making the FeedBurner PRO features freely available.
The next update could be integration of stats from FeedBurner to Google Analytics to provide more information about the visitors to your site.

Blogger Draft also graduated the Poll tool which has been in testing phase for a few weeks. The Poll has grown out of beta earlier than the Video Upload tool which is still under Blogger Draft.
Watch the video on how to crate a poll at this official Google post.

Blogger Draft released a new search tool which uses Google Ajax Search and provide an almost instant search functionality to Blogger. The way it shows the result is unobtrusive and the results follows the CSS rules of the blog itself.
Now with this Search, it will be taking less time to see if a blog has topics of your interest and then decide to keep on reading it.
